Muffin-Baking (Sunday, Jan 18, 2009)

I only bake banana muffins occasionally. Like when I feel like it and when I really put effort in finding the right bananas to be mashed and put them in the batter. Nevertheless, I enjoyed baking. There's no doubt about that!

This is the second tray and mom just couldnt help it and just grabbed one while it's still hot!!

They are just heavenly.

And here are the banana muffins baking away.

This is the first tray all ready to go into the oven.

This is my left over batter after I have filled up like half or 3-quarter of it.

Sunday, Jan 18, 2009. Muffin-baking session again. This time, it's banana muffins.

The one in the big muffin cups turned out quite lovely as well.

They turned out quite nicely looking too.

My muffins are bakin' away in the oven.

This is another tray with big muffins paper cups.

And here they are in the big muffin cups in the big muffin mould.

This is my batter.

The Muffin-Helper cum Assistant

I totally had a great time being the Muffin-Helper cum Assistant. Besides that we started baking brownies, butter cakes and Hafie is really good at this baking business. And just like me, sometimes she hardly eats what she bakes!

There were a few boxes but I left early since we were done with the baking and only left with putting the muffins in the cases and stapling them.

Once we're done cooling the muffins, we put into plastic cases and stapled them and store in boxes before Hafie sent them to the owner.

I totally enjoyed looking at the cracked ones. Macam apam kukus pun iya kan...?

Here is another batch cooling on a chair.

Here we are waiting for the muffins to cool.

Coz have has a big oven, when the muffin were freshly out of the oven, they just turned out so nice with crack in the middle and all that. Heaven.

Hafie has a big oven so a big tray like this that can fit a good 36 pieces of muffin can bake at one go.

Monday, Dec 29, 2008. I went to Hafie's home-sweet-home to help her bake her 1500 pieces of vanilla muffins with chocolate chips. Do enjoy the pics above. Maddie.

Introduction to Muffin-Baking Acitivity Part 2

The very day Hafie gave me the Heavenly Yum Yum muffins, she baked some more of these while I was at her home and I managed to give lil sis Najwa some of these too.

Soon after that, I became the muffin-helper/assistant when Hafie accepted a baking order of 1500 pieces of muffins for someone's wedding party. Will upload pictures soon.

Introduction to Muffin-Baking Acitivity

I dont particularly have a sweet tooth and dont quite fancy sweet stuff much. At least, unlike before or when I was younger. But I was introduced to the world of muffin baking by my best bud, my BFF, Hafie. Or rather Nur, to many other people.

I met and known Hafie as long as I can remember, since we were 19 or 20 as we used to be acquaintances during my last semester during my diploma days in ITM Shah Alam; where we stayed at Delima Hostel. Delima was then the 90210 hostel since that's among the only hostels within the campus that puts two-to-a-room and most closest girl's hostel to the pool.

I then was put together in a room with Hafie when I did my very first semester of my first degree program at Cempaka-Kenanga Hostel where there were four of us put in a room. Then we were 23 or 24. We grew close and have been good friends since then. I was there when she got engaged, got married and I am so proud that Hafie was the one who introduced me to this muffin-baking activity.

Among the many few visits to Hafie's home, she baked me some muffins. Then she gave a packet of flour and I baked for myself. It was that easy.

Maddie.

Heavenly Yum Yum Muffins. These were the few she gave me.

Pumpkin And Munchkin

I still call Rayyannah pumpkin and I also call Musa pumpkin much to Rara's dismay. They are my first-born niece and nephew and the centre of my love and life other than mom and my significant other and my siblings who are also my other halves.

This is my munchkin. His name is Musa Bin Mohd Saufy. He is my nephew. He is my lil sis Najwa's son and he is about 13 and a half months now. This is a pic of him inside his tent for the first time he has gotten over his confined-space syndrome and went into his tent to get his car.

This is my pumpkin. Her nama is Nor Khaleedah Rayyannah Binti Muhammad Zaeem. She is my niece. She is my lil bro Eem's daughter and she is 11 years old now. This is an old pic of her though. This is the first time we baked a tray of brownie together and here she is licking the brownie leftover from the mixing bowl.
