Fridays are Atif's off days.  We often go for movies on Fridays and often ends up having our food outside too.  There is this new warung place at SS13 SJ that we recently frequented.  Portion of food is small as the price is also not too expensive.  Quite a crowd on weekends too and it is like a little Uptown on its own.

As usual Atif will go for nasi putih, daging masak merah and telur dadar.  He ordered milo for his drink but he ended up asking the boy to bungkus the milo. Hehe. Kekenyangan le tu.. 

I ordered kue teow bandung which turns out to be so tak sedap! Sib baik ada order my fav otak2 and cukuplah 5 keping untuk aku sorang. My drink is always teh-o-limau panas. Alhamdulillah.

Saturday, April 16, 2011. I cut these fruits to eat with kuah rojak Mak Bee which is Atif's fav kuah rojak.  I dont quite like to mix the kuah rojak together with the fruits. I like to eat them separately.

I have never bought this local mag GLAM but whenever I find them at hair salon, spa, hotel, etc, I would try never to miss reading them.  But buying them, aku rasa mcm kureng sikit sbb penuh dgn glossy pages of ads aje rasanya even though some articles and features write-ups are pretty interesting readings.  

I borrowed this mag of GLAM with Ziana Zain as cover girl from my good friend Zurinah and enjoyed the write-up on anti-aging creams and serums.

Tak silap penulis was talking about, how a lot of women out there, after having kids mostly, fail to take care of their face and skin that leaves them looking haggard and allowing fine lines and lines to appear.  To me, it's not just the lines, fine lines or wrinkles etc, tp biasalah, bila dah ada anak, focus utk jaga diri sendiri dah kureng.  Lebih pada rumah tangga, anak2 apatah lagi kalu bajet asyik lari aje kan.

The write was pointing out that after 35, serums and anti aging creams are the most importance before we reach 40 so that the fine lines, wrinkles or watever yg sememangnya memang akan keluar dan wujud, (tu tak masuk lagi brown spots, and entah apa2 lagi kan yg akan emerge on our skin) tak la nampak sgt dan bole di bendung la...

There are thousands of stuff in the market.  Suit your budget.  I personally take a lot of things, either eating them, or applying them on my face and skin just for maintenance.  I have put up here on my blog on the sides.   Hakikatnya, kita sebagai wanita, tepuk dada tanya selera.  Dan jangan la takut utk ketepikan sikit duit dan bajet untuk diri sendiri.  

Personally, I have used Body Shop's anti-aging whitening (Shiso) serum, twice, i.e. two bottles before I changed into SKII's celluminization essence.  Yes SKII is much more pricey than Body Shop's so I have to budget nicely when my facial stuff is running out of stock.

For the past 3 years, since I got married, it seems, that most of the time, when I go out, I try not to forget to snap pic of where I park my car, like this..

Padahal dulu, where I park my car, I hardly get lost and I'd ALWAYS know where to find my car, except for once, bulan puasa, first time I went to Berjaya Times Square and I lost myself when I tried to find my car...

I made this simple salad today (Tuesday, April 12, 2011) and went out to dinner with Ayu at Secret Recipe Glenmarie.  

The simple salad. Just sliced onion, sliced tomato, sliced cucumber, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, a dash of salt and 2 tablespoon of olive oil.  Yang sakit hatinya, when I packed this into the fridge, si pakistan ni, dia bawak the whole tupperware to work!! Hangin makcik kejap!! Hehe..! 

Tak silap this was Laksa Singapore or something with camomile tea at Secret Recipe. My meal or rather dinner for that nite.

This was Ayu's dinner.  The camomile tea we ordered by the pot and asked the boy to refill the pot with hot water again and again. Hehe..!

Later that nite, Atif made this mango, guava and papaya fruit salad.  He likes to mix the kuah rojak together rather than me who likes to 'cholet' the fruit separately with the kuah.

I cooked this sambal petai udang or sambal udang petai, whichever comes first actually eh?  If the shrimps are more, it should be sambal udang petai, or vice versa.  Anyway, I guess the amount of the shrimps and petai this time are quite the same.  So here are the pictures.

Sunday, April 10, 2011.  Selalunya goreng sayur letak kicap aje or oyster sauce. Kali ni saja je try goreng sayur letak cili sikit.  I like it yet apparently, Atif dont quite like it.  Tapi sekali sekala I still do it. Tukar selera gak la kan..

Then as usual masaklah nasi pakistan kegemaran laki ku ini.. Yg memang suka aku masak cara mak dia ni.. Minus the minyak sapi though..

Then Atif masak la his famous kari kacang kuda - Chick Peas Curry. Alhamdulillah, sekali sekala, makan dgn nasi pakistan and sayur goreng sedap juga.. hehe..

It's Been A Month.

It's been a month since my last posting. I had wanted to post about all the lost items during the break-in of the Malacca house but been lethargic since the pregnancy.  Still, now that I had to lose it (yes, the pregnancy, DNC done on Friday, June 17, 2011 [exactly a month after our 3rd Wedding Anniversary and my birthday] and now that I have the courage to write again), I thought, oh well, I might as well start with the lost items and the pictures that I had wanted to put up here.  So here they are, all the most beloved items that I have loved and still have lots of hearts for them.  

Here is my little nephew Musa wearing my red arm-sleeves that I often put on (according to my outfit, mind you, which went with the car! I have only this pic of the interior of my beloved Proton Iswara Auto WJV7801. Bought this car in 2002. My first car.

Here is a pic of my first-now-lost aka stolen car.  I took this pic when I sent it for wash at Subang Parade if Im not mistaken, Christmas last year. 

This pic was taken somewhere before CNY this year if Im not mistaken.  The air-cond broke and while having it fixed it broke down again and again. I still miss this baby. Tsk.. tsk..

The Aftermath.

My entry on Apr 20, 2011 explained the recent robbery at Malacca house on Saturday nite March 12 / Sunday morning March 13, 2011.  Right after the robbery my lawyer Hilmy managed to rent a car for me to move around. Alhamdulillah. I am thankful and grateful to Allah for putting him in our lives, at the right moment, at the right time.

It has indeed been quite a while I update my blog.  Maklumlah walaupun ada lappy yang tak seberapa pun, tak reti nak upload gambar. By the time try to bukak blog via smartphone, hangin pulak, sbb byk sgt drafts jadiknya.. Hence, had to wait til really really REALLY ready baru bole update and sure of all the pictures from the phone bule upload tul tak?

My lil sis Najwa gave birth to her 2nd child, a baby girl she names Zainab on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at her Shah Alam home. Much to everyone's surprise. Here is a glimpse of Zainab for everyone to see.

Chronological of Events Since The Last Entry.

Despite that I dont think I can remember all the events chronologically speaking, I would still like to pen down whatever that I can remember for that matter since my last entry.  All I can remember, memang aku balik kali ni, macam biasalah, 10 ari tu memang Atif dah benarkan. Banyak gak kija aku. Listing them down as something like this:

1. Nak pasang Acond baru kat ruang tamu 
2. Nak pasang Acond baru kat dlm bilik mama
3. Nak pasang Acond kat surau
4. Nak gi tengok keta baru kat showroom Proton (just suka2 aje, masa tu lom plan nak beli)
5. Nak gi doktor skin clinic, then nak mintak surat referral letter to ENT clinic (nak taye pasal vertigo ni)
6. Mami Peah and Mami Pidah puye doktor kat klinik Ujong Pasir and klinik Pantai Peringgit nak kena tengokkan sekali (yg amik ubat, yg amik darah, yg memang dah due nak jumpa doktor..
7. Nak gi survey baby cot baru for Najwa's baby
8. Nak gi Kamdar, mama kata nak nengok kain..
9. Pergghhhh banyak gak kija aku kan.. standard la.. aku kan SUPIR TERHORMAT..

Tak silap tak ke mana ari ni.. But was so sick due to vertigo and mom called crying, said, Najwa left the house, on the bus, with stuff, back to Melaka, while she just arrived on Monday.  I just dont know what to say, what to do. Speechless is more like it.  Najwa is so heavily pregnant and her husband just couldnt handle her tantrum. Sigh..

Took mom and mami peah to the nearby clinic as both we down with bad flu.  Right after sending Atif to Melaka Sentral, whilst mami pidah accompanied me all the way, once I reached home, mom told me she wants to be admitted to the hospital as she felt so sick.

Without further a due, I packed my bag, mom's bag, and admit her to the ER then checked her in at the Putra hospital.  Alerted the siblings and the lawyers and also my first and most eldest cousin, Kak Jena.  Her heart doctor came, and we were all worried as her temperature was as high as 40* and had not gone down since I took her to the nearby clinic earlier that day. Mom was so dehydrated.

I talked to mom that night. A heart-to-heart talk to her.  Asked her to tell me truthfully and whole-heartedly, what exactly is bothering her mind. That had led to this flu and what decided her to just want to be admitted to the hospital.

Mom said, she had told Najwa not to go back just yet, but with Saufy pestering her (Najwa), she did, and entah apa yang dah dia merajuk dgn laki dia, dia naik bas the next day and mom got so worried and had to trouble Kak Jena to pick Najwa from Sentral and send her back to Melaka house.  Najwa is so stubborn and so is her husband and every little thing they do that hurts mom, as usual, now and forever, I am mom's punching bag.  Hangin gak aku kan, tp apa bole aku buat, dah perangai adik ppuan aku cenggitu. Yg laki dia cenggini. Yg mati tengah2 makan ati, mama, yg memujuk aku.  Tak lama lagi, aku ni memang akan jadi Hantu Paku dah ni.. Letih la..

Izan and Aiyee came to visit, then Hilmy, our family lawyer came, and we discharged mom and Zaeem took off to KL straight away.  4-5 bottles of drip and with some antibiotics for mom to continue for a week, I took mom home.

Yang benaunya, aku pun penat gak, dgn vertigo tak ilang lom sempat gi jumpa doktor ENT lagi, balik2 aje Melaka, dah mama masuk spital. Aku yg jaga mama kat spital ni  semput 2 ari, sbb tido kat kerusi malas aje, plus acond spital tu kuat.  Sigh.. Inilah pengorbanan aku kerana aku kasih dan syg pada mak aku. Anak2 lain tak nak jaga or layan mama, nasib diorg lah..  Zaeem discharged mom and terlupa nak bagi balik mom's IC.

Tak silap datang lagi ke hospital for ENT appointment pulak.  Later, aku keluar dgn Mami Pidah teman untuk beli DVD player for Musa and was thinking of finding some Sesame Streets DVD for him too. Hoping dia nak la duduk diam sikit.

Zaeem balik and siap pasangkan DVD player that I just bought so that Musa can see Sesame Streets DVDs that I bought for Musa.   Zaeem balik pun kebetulan dia ada training kat NIOSH Sungai Udang, so he stopped by sekejap and return mom's IC yang dia tak sengaja terlupa pulangkan on Sunday.

Pegi kedai Acond lagi, kali ni byr for Acond surau. So mengantuk lagi dari tengahari. So right after that we just went home.  Malam tu entah kenapa the mami's pun tak larat, siang2 dah tido.  But mom and I duduk gak kat depan, nengok Cerekarama. Citer yg Fasha Sandha berlakon as isteri yg kena tangkap basah dan di tangkap oleh suami sendiri tu.. Mom went to sleep right after that. I stayed on up and talked to Atif until about 1am when I told Atif, I am so sleepy dah.

Hakikatnya, aku tak ingat pukul berapa tapi aku perasan aku nampak ada org yg pendek aje, kat pintu bilik mama tengah capai barang, i.e. hanpon aku, and I thot I was dreaming, so I didnt berbunyi coz I memang MENGANTUK SESANGAT.

I woke up to pee (as usual) and when to find my handphone (which is a usual thing as I was charging my handphone), eh, aku heran, handphone aku takda, aku bukak lampu, eh, aku ni mimpi ke, dgn charger2 pun takda, aku cari handbeg aku.. eh takda jugak, pintu bilik masa tu dah renggang, aku ingat, eh aku tak tutup pintu ke, aku bukak pintu, masuk balik, then aku toleh nak cari handphone mama, aku nengok, laci mama dah terbukak, aku terus, bukak lampu, bukak lampu luar, pegi ke ruang tamu kat depan, bukak lampu semua, baru aku perasan, pintu depan dah terbukak, aku bukak pintu depan, MASYA ALLAH, GATE AKU DAH TERKANGKANG, KETA AKU (WJV 7801) DAH TADA!!

Aku terus kejutkan mama, and aku memang TERPERANJAT, TERKIMPUT, TERKESIMA, you name it.. Mama lagi la.. dia ingatkan dia mimpi ke.. then aku ketuk mami mami.. While calling the police at 999, I shouted for mom to find my laptop bag.. SAH! memang dah tada..

I called the police and asked them to transfer me to Balai Polis Batang Tiga and asked the police to come straight away.  Then I had to calm myself down for a while as I have to remember, or think straight for a while, how do I call my lawyer, Hilmy.  Maklum le, nombor semua dalam hanpon, mana ada tulis2 lagi skrg kan.. Duduk kejap, baru teringat, Hilmy just gave us a receipt, so I went to find my apple green folder, found his number and straight away give him a call. 

I sat down to list what are the things that are lost besides the cash, the handphones (both mom and mine), the laptop, besides the car.

The police arrived first. A gud 5 mins after that, my lawyer Hilmy arrived.  We sat for while, and at about 5 something, he took me to the Batang Tiga Police Station to file my report.  I managed to get the officer to help me get Abg Din's (Chief Police, Melaka Tengah, ACP Tuan Salehuddin Abd Rahman - my Master's classmate) hanphone number and called him at to let him know and asked for him to push his men to speed up the IO (Investigating Officer) to the house. If not, on a Sunday, Hilmy doubt, they will only arrive at 10am.

Sarjan Adnan and another officer arrived at about 7.30am.  Hilmy went home first to bathe and bought us breakfast while the policemen were at home and much to my surprise, Sarjan Adnan knows my lawyer Hilmy so that kinda make things easy for me, I mean, I felt a bit at ease..

Yet, still in shock.  After a while, mama dah tersepok kat kerusi panjang, while the officer put the chemical to find the finger prints, we were frantically looking for the glass shutter on the right window (of the living room) yang si penyangak ni dah bukak, and letak entah kat mana.. Aku pulak, dah terdiam, mcm aku terkedu.. 

Hilmy had to go as he has other errands to run. He tried to lift my spirits up.  I managed to call Atif from the house phone and from Hilmy's phone too.  I cried as I was in shock.  Mintak jugak Atif balik, but he cudnt even get a bus to go to the Metro Bus Station at USJ.  He offered to go back the next day, tp bila pikir2 balik, bos dia cuma kasi cuti satu hari aje, apa dia bole buat pun.. Buat penatkan badan aje.. Tak apalah.. Told him to come back on Friday then..

My handphone, mom's handphones, the pictures inside them, my laptop, I felt like, my whole world felt apart, all my pictures, my stuff in the laptop.. my car.. my loyal Proton Iswara WJV7801 yang penuh dgn kenangan pahit manis selama 10 tahun.. aku rasa sangat sangat sedih.. Ya Allah, sabarkanlah aku wahai Tuhanku.. 

Hancur luluh rasanya hati ku..

Hari Ahad ini juga, sebenarnya kita ada jemputan org kawin di Banda Kaba, rumah Mami Yah. Mom, Mami Peah and I didnt go coz we were to distraught to go.  Mami Guy and Min (my cousin) came from KL for the wedding and visited us before they went to the wedding.  They came to pick up Mami Pidah.

Malam tu, lepas Isyak, Hilmy datang lagi, and aku mintak bawak aku pegi potostet polis repot.  Since aku dah mintak tolong Ayu bar kan line kat Maxis, Monday tu kan nak pegi Maxis, of which I know is going to take like the whole day.

Lawyer Hilmy aturkan kereta sewa for me, via his friend, Encik Razak.  MBA 4141 Chevrolet Aveo Merah.  Alhamdulillah.  Aku bersyukur dalam segala kepayahan dan dugaan hidup, aku masih dikelilingi orang2 yg sudi menolong di saat saat kesusahan.  Memang aku sangat sangat down.

Zaeem pun balik ari, and Najwa pun balik jugak to leave Musa with us, till she gives birth.

Cant recall where we went in the morning, but all I can remember is that, I went to Mahkota Parade and paid my phone bills, got mom a new phone and myself too.  Malam tu, aku masih tak boleh tido. Langsung langsung tak bole tido.

Mom highlighted the break-in to Madam Serina next door.  Then only we learned her husband had passed on during CNY.  She gave us the alarm guy that she worked with and the flooring guy too.  She suggested we change our gates to electric ones too.  We had to give it a good thought coz we all felt, it's for our safety measures too.  Afterall, mom will live alone and if not because of the fairies, yg duduk accompany her, susah jugak coz mom is all alone.

Zainab arrived at 9am.  Got my new car at 3pm. MCA 7247.  At 6pm, took mom for a hair cut and at 6pm, Saufy called mom, telling Najwa dah beranak. Malam tu jugak mom left for KL, with Mami Pidah, Kak Jena, Musa and went with Azhar, driver En. Razak and they came back the same night.  I waited up till mom reached home.  Couldnt sleep much pun dah nowadays.

Friday, April 01, 2011Took Mom for her Eye appointment.  Atif came back to see me for a few hours. I sent him to Melaka Sentral for his bus at 7pm.

Dah lebih sebulan aku kat Melaka ni, aku tinggalkan suamiku utk attend to my mom and aunts hospitals. Not just hospital appointments but also other emotional, physical, mental, physiological needs and whatsoever.  Tapi kenapa aku juga masih anak yang tak baik, tak bersyukur, tak mengenang budi, tak sayang mak aku?

I rest my case.

Ketahuilah dunia bahawa, aku berada di sini adalah kerana aku sangat sangat kasih dan sangat sangat sayang pada mama ku.  Dan kerana aku tahu, tidak ada anak lain yang lahir dari perut yg sama yang sanggup ATTEND to all her whims and fancies. 

Tapi kalau aku membelakangkan suami ku ini, melebihkan mak aku ni, menjadikan aku seorang anak yang tak baik, aku undur diri.
